When the system sends out an invoice, maybe include the direct URL to the invoice for payment like the other 5 letter word does?

It is possible, I use [DIRECTPAYMENTLINK] in the template for it. I have also tested it and it does email url does send it directly to the payment gateway in our case.

Note: This currently only works for PayPal.

PayPal also balks if they try to use a PayPal account with different email. I got so many support calls, where the link did not work that I quit using it. This would help a LOT with actually getting paid. Clients hate logging in to yet another system (our Clientexec) to pay invoices. Many clients just call me to pay their invoices, I view as them and enter their info that they give me over the phone. Lot of wasted time to collect payments.

It would be nice if it worked for all credit cards, or at least for Stripe, Square, etc.

I think [DIRECTPAYMENTLINK] works for each payment gateway that supports this method and was default gateway;

Note on link says only PayPal, but Clientexec is fixing that. Not available for Stripe, which is where I need it. I'm pretty sure Stripe has ability to make payment links. Hopefully this gets added at some point.
