It is possible, I use [DIRECTPAYMENTLINK] in the template for it. I have also tested it and it does email url does send it directly to the payment gateway in our case.

Is it possible to add a header and footer to the mail templates once? Not per template file. Maybe a action hook or somewhere else? When adding the header and footer HTML to the mail template it works, but there are alot of templates to edit, and when there is a change we need to edit it...
