We have started offering third-level ".bd" domain extensions (e.g., .com.bd, .edu.bd, .ai.bd) from this ongoing month. To successfully process orders for these extensions, legal documents are mandatory and must be submitted during the ordering process.
Currently, there is no suitable method for customers to upload the required documents during the checkout process. Although documents can be collected through support tickets, this approach is not convenient or efficient, often leading to delays and requiring manual intervention.
01. Introducing a custom field type called "Media" (file upload) would solve this limitation by allowing customers to submit the necessary documents at the time of order placement. This improvement will ensure registry compliance, faster order processing, and reduced manual follow-ups not only for this specific product type but also for other product types.
02. Additionally, custom fields are currently available only at the product group level. Allowing custom fields at the product level would greatly improve the order experience for both customers and administrators, since different products often require different documents. A similar feature request (add custom fields for products) already exists on this platform, showing that this is a common and important need.
Please consider adding "Media" as a custom field type, along with product level support, to improve and streamline the order process.
