we sell a hosting package, and a cPanel gets created, but my staff doesn't get the cPanel password or the WordPress password, and I don't really even like to share those passwords unless absolutely necessary.
That's the point of this workaround...if my VA has a Clientexec login, he can access *ALL* the cPanel accounts, which is probably more access than he needs, but does provide a single point of control, and a way that he can start working on the new WordPress site through the Softaculous WordPress Manager.
Does that make sense?
I would love to know of more elegant solutions- one that I can think of would be creating the WP or cPanel passwords in Zoho Vault via API.
I could also share my WHM password via Vault, but that seems likely to cause problems.
I think this is a common problem, because of WHM only having one password, and cPanel too.
Looking for ideas.
